ROSEMARY & GORGONZOLA CHEESE DIP


Rosemary and Gorgonzola Cheese Dip

If you like sweet and salty you will love this dip with grapes. Yum


Ingredients
4 tablespoons bacon bits ( real bacon)
2 garlic cloves minced
2 8 oz packages cream cheese softened
1/3 cup half and half
4-5 oz Gorgonzola cheese crumbled
1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary finely chopped
3 tablespoons  chopped walnuts, toasted
Items for dipping ( grape clusters and crackers are terrific)


Instructions
1. Add 1 tbls olive oil to pan and heat up bacon bits,  add minced garlic, saute 1 minute
2. Beat cream cheese at  medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add
half and half, beat till combined.  Stir in bacon, garlic, cheese and rosemary.
3. Spoon mixture evenly into baking dish.
4. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until gold and bubbly.  Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.

*TIP: Rosemary is easy to grow all year round. Everyone should have a plant in their yard. Great for adding spice and an easy & pretty garnish.
